Opt in lists

So you have your business up and running, you have a small client base and wish to expand. What do you think would be a good idea at this point? Flyers? Media releases? No the answer is much more simple than that. You need to reach the masses without draining your resources and or tuckering yourself out. This is where Opt in lists come in handy.

The idea behind opt in lists, is simple whenever someone comes to your site, you place them on opt in list tag that prompts them to leave an email address. Then this address in turn can be used for promotional and business purposes. This is a very efficient and easy to use marketing strategy, and has definitely paid off for some of the biggest online firms on the planet. This e-mail listing is not solely reserved for clients, it can be used to address employees, investors, suppliers, distributors, resellers, and potential clients alike. In this day and age, it is highly unlikely that a company or even a common person does not have access to an e-mail account. With over 1 billion people globally online this year, you can bet just about all of them have e-mail, of some sort.

Permission based marketing is the way to go, if you feel you may be bothering or annoying someone, by sending them information about your product or service. The idea that you cannot send e-mail to everyone on the list is purely preposterous. Go for a high investment return audience if need be. When it comes down to it, e-mail has cornered the market on being a very fast communication devise that is cheap. It is far cheaper than using the telephone when you are dealing with the long distance charges. This could easily be one of the best marketing tools you find for your business why would you delay, and take a chance to lose more money? Many people still have no ideas to generate flow to their sites and how to do follow ups for further business. With opt in e-mail you will have an easy time keeping control of the business you can, could or will have.

This direct e-mail to client route is very slowly catching fire, and will most likely take over as the marketing method of choice in the very near future. With out a tool such as opt in list; the company cannot reach nearly as much of a potential client base as with the program. Any method proven to work and show production in a business should never be avoided. It may not work for you, but at least reviewing the information on it, and your options will give you a better idea on whether of not it would be right for you and you business.

Making more money on ebay

Copyright © Philippe de Tiege
http://www.PhilippedeTiege.com

There are many ways you can make money on ebay, from selling stuff you no longer need, all the way up to selling merchandise from a wholesaler. This is not the limit however, of the wonderful methods of generating cash off of the world of ebay. You can sell property, cars, boats, and even businesses. There have been transactions as low as a dollar, all the way up to business transfers that run into the hundreds of thousands of dollars. Ebay is clearly here to stay, now it is time for you to get your feet wet on this great money making opportunity.

Here we will focus on selling for a wholesaler, this is where you will promote other peoples products and sell them for a cut of the profit. Lets say for example you find a product you are interested in such as say, stereo speakers. You will then search for a wholesaler that will accept a contract with someone that deals in affiliates and ebay, with the proof that you are an ebay seller and can verify the account on ebay this should not be hard. Once you have landed this contract with the wholesaler, it is time to set up market strategies, and make sure they conform to what the wholesaler finds acceptable. Make a plan, check it twice and get to work selling.

Once you have the site available for the public to view, you need to weigh out some of the business expenses that will ensure you are not spending more than you are making. By having multiple payment options you can be sure you have all your sales basis covered. One of the biggest expenses you will encounter will be shipping and storage costs. It is not likely that you will have the space in your home to store a couple thousand pairs of home speakers, and this notion would require some sort of insurance that will be required in order for the wholesaler to relinquish the product to you. Any notion that you can rent space for cheap is improbable, and again will still require insurance as a measure of protection for you and the wholesaler. So what do you do? Well the answer is simple; you have the wholesaler keep the product, and ship when necessary to the customer when purchased.

This will keep the entire product in one place, alleviate the need to worry about shipping, and still ensure that you are able to make the sale. Once the product is sold to a customer, you simply place the order to the wholesaler, they will in turn send the product, charge you for the wholesale cost and the holding and shipping cost and the rest is yours to keep. This is not a difficult task and you do not even need to leave your seat. What you really need to do is research the product, and its competitors and finds a price that is reasonable, and will generate the best profit for what you are doing. What you are really doing is selling the goods like a salesman on a store floor. All the while not even leaving your home, you do not even really need to monitor this whole process, as the customer’s invoice will come in to you via e-mail.

Network Marketing Home Business

Copyright © Philippe de Tiege
http://www.PhilippedeTiege.com

Many people that think operating a business from home is glamorous, exciting, and filled with freedoms that you can never experience if you work for someone else. Without the obligations that come from reporting to an employer everyday and they then think the money is easily acquired. This article will look at both the positives and negatives of owning a home-based business.

An important part of working from home is letting others know you have a business and this is done through networking. Network marketing is not always easy for everyone. There are individuals who are very natural at talking with others and find it quite easy to be in a room full of strangers and talk about what they have to offer. Then there are those terrified of the idea of network marketing and would prefer to stay home and pay someone else to do this portion of the business for them. Network marketing does not have to be a horrible experience for you and you do not have to have a panic attack at the thought of attending one. When you prepare for network marketing and do not go in with your eyes closed, you will find that it will make an enormous difference in the productivity of your business. Network marketing can be beneficial in building a plethora of resources and contacts that you can have at your fingertips to propel your business forward.

Decide in advance how many people you want to talk to and do just that. If it is your first time, you may only want to talk to three people. Although once you are there, you will probably find yourself relaxing and notice that you came home with more than three contacts. Do not forget the business cards of the people you meet. In the excitement, you may forget their names. It is a good idea to jot down some relevant information on the back of the card to help you remember why or why not you like that particular contact.

In order for your home business to be successful, you have to make your presence known. You can do this through advertising and word-of-mouth. However, staying inside your protective home and never letting anyone know whom you are will not generate many clients or bring an increase in your profits. Go out, have coffee, and talk to others about your services. Walk into businesses that you think will profit from your services and let them know what you have to offer. If you have children in school, you can offer your services to the PTA or other groups that your child may be involved. Do not discount your sphere of influences because it is from this circle that your business will grow.

Merchant Accounts for Home Business

Copyright © Philippe de Tiege
http://www.PhilippedeTiege.com

What is a “high-risk” merchant and how do you know whether-or-not you are in the category? If you are what can you do to change your status? Some examples of high-risk merchants include:

* Internet or E-commerce
* Telemarketers
* Travel or Cruise companies
* Internet Auctions
* Businesses that offer memberships to join their business.

If you own a high-risk business this is not a reason for immediate denial of operating with a merchant account. Although you may face a few, more challenges than other types of businesses in acquiring a merchant account. Other factors that are considered when you apply for a merchant account would be how long your business has been in operation, credit history, how you made payments with other merchant accounts or with other processors. This information will help those who are considering your account as to whether-or-not you will be faithful to your payments.

If you want to increase your opportunity to gain a merchant account here are a few tips that may help you:
* Take care of your credit report. If you have anything negative or that may be false, clear it up immediately.
* Do not lie or hold back any information on other accounts you may have had. If you had problems in the past be up front about them. You do not want them to find out something happened different from what you reported on the application.
* You may be offered the account but at a higher rate than what you want, be willing to accept higher fees if they offer it to you. In this way, you can prove yourself and eventually move to an account with lower fees.
*
The amount of time you have been in business is important because those providers of merchant accounts want to make sure you know what is going on and what is expected of you. By looking at the time, you have been in business they can determine if you understand the risks you face and if you know how to prevent fraud and understand the dynamics of managing credit cards. If you have not been in business long this tells the merchant operator that you may not be ready for this type of account.

Of course, your credit report will show your worthiness to be extended credit as they look for how you have repaid loans, do you have any liens on properties or judgments that are against you. They want to see if you have filed any bankruptcies. If you have a positive credit score this will work in your favor even if your business may be new and if you can prove that you are financially responsible they will look more favorably to offering you a merchant account.

Making money with resale rights

Making money with resale rights

Copyright © Philippe de Tiege
http://www.PhilippedeTiege.com

Do you believe that you can make money-selling product, when you do not have the initial capital to buy the products that you intend on selling? How can someone possibly get product for free to sell on the web and make money? The answer does not require a PHD to figure out, going wholesale is the way to do this. When wholesale comes to mind the first thing mentioned is resale rights.

The basis idea behind the resale right is for you to find out exactly what it is you plan on selling first and foremost, this will be your plan of action. Then you will need to have a place for you to sell the said items, this can be done on Internet auctions such as ebay. You may also run the business out of your home without the said auction sites. You will not be a sole businessperson in this endeavor however, as you are going to need the product to sell. This is where the wholesaler comes into play. When you can prove the business id and the proof of the ebay account you can easily get an account from the wholesaler to receive goods from them to sell online.

How this works is quite simple, you place the product on the market and set up the sale. This then will be sent to the wholesaler for approval, once you get the approval of the sale it shall commence. The likelihood of you having the space to keep a large amount of the product in your home, of course depending on what you are selling. There is the possibility for you to have your stuff stored at the very place that you have purchased from. This no doubt ably will come at a cost, it will be minimal however as the product is already there in the first place. This will be on more of a percentage basis than a fee or charge. If you think about it you are buying from a wholesaler anyhow, spending a little on storage by way of a percentage is a small price to pay. It would cost you far more to rent out space to store the goods that you are selling.

So when you sell the product to a client, you will in turn pay for the goods sold, pay the percentage for the storage and what ever is left belongs to you. This is an excellent way for you to develop a great relationship with the wholesaler, and get a business off the ground and successful. So as you can see, getting on the resale right bandwagon is clearly the way to go when starting a new Internet sales business.
